I am serving on board the USS Carl Vinson in the Dental Department. Recently I wrote to the soldiers Angels requesting
sponsorship for my department. We have several first timers pining for the comforts of home.  Some of the fellows had
been day dreaming out loud about fresh baked cookies.  I can make quite a few things in my lab but cookies are not
one of them. We were so happy and surprised when the box  arrived.  It seemed they were gone in a flash, gobbled
down as quickly as possible. Yet they savored every bite down to the last golden crumbs clinging to their fingers. The
guys had the look of contented cats when scratched under their chins. That was a priceless moment. It gave them a
nice glow to feel appreciated.

OPERATION TREATS FOR THE TROOPS

Our collection of emails and letters keeps growing and growing!
Sir or Ma’am, One of our soldiers brought over some of your cookies to share with us.  We very much enjoyed your
cookies and wanted to say thank you for your patriotism and support by sending one of the “sweetest” gifts we could
receive.  Nothing brings a smile at the end of a long day like a box of cookies from our loyal supporters. Thanks again.
You must hear this a lot, but thank you for everything you are doing back home.  I can only hope the person who
donated that first $9 dollars and the employees of your company know how much of an impact they are making on the
morale of the Men and Women deployed overseas. It is absolutely true that even the smallest package containing daily
necessities can improve someone's day, but receiving home baked goods can make the day just that much better.
Club Nine Extra Dozen Donation
$9.00
I would appreciate it if you told the kind people who have donated these cookies to us soldiers that we all appreciate
the support. I'm sure my fellow soldiers will love them (since for most of them, it's the closest thing to a "homemade
treat"). That's why I ordered cookies for my fellow troops. You have a great and blessed day...
Just received a bunch of your cookies from my friend.  Thanks so much, they were wonderful and certainly didn't last
long between me and my compatriots! You mentioned a nice lady from Shoal Creek, Alabama who's responsible for the
extra dozen cookies I received.  If you still have her email on file, could you please forward?  I would really like to send
her a thank you note.
Your cookies are delicious and being enjoyed throughout my section. Between you and my wife, I’ll need extra
workouts.  Please tell that wonderful lady from North Yarmouth that her support is very much appreciated.  Support
like this makes being away from my beautiful family much easier to handle.  From all the Marines in the intelligence
section, thank you and Semper Fi
I'm the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Officer.  Our squadron flies and maintains the Lockheed Martin KC-130J "Super
Hercules" aircraft.  We are currently deployed in support of Operation Iraq Freedom III. I'm writing in response to the
letter that you placed in the box of cookies sent to me by my wife.  There was an additional dozen added to my wife's
order by a lady from Port Charlotte, FL.

If you could please, pass on to her that we are very grateful for her generous expression of support towards the
troops.  The cookies made the trip intact, but did not last very long once placed in the open.  Some of the best cookies
I've ever had, but please don't tell that to my Mom.  The cookies were enjoyed very much.  It is amazing how the
smallest of things can bring a smile to those deployed away from home.  Deployments are nothing more than courses
in home appreciation, and with gestures such as hers, we all are very grateful for our homeland and even prouder to
be an American.
I'm an Hull Technician on board the USS Bonhomme Richard.  It is unbelievable how getting a package overseas lifts
the spirit and morale up of troops serving their country. I have shared these cookies with all the guys I work with and
we all appreciate them very much. I just received them on May 15. They are still fresh and unbroken and YES, very
delicious! It's people like you I'm glad I serve in the Navy to defend the country its right to freedom.
We received some cookies last week from your program, they were outstanding and thank you very much.  I am a First
class petty officer in the US Navy, the cookies were given to my work center which is made up of about ten guys.  The
cookies did not stand a chance, they were as I said outstanding.  We are currently deployed to the North Arabian Gulf
and they were an unexpected treat for us all.  Dealing with this heat is difficult enough, and your treat for us was very
nice thank you for what you've done for us.  It is nice to know that there are good hearted people still in this world.

here. Thank you all at cookies direct and god bless you all. And God Bless America as well.
I am a forward deployed soldier who doesn't get the creature comforts of every day life very often.  To get a shower
support for soldier abroad.  The cookies were outstanding for my fellow soldiers and myself.  It is a little slice of home
supporters that every cookie is savored and appreciated by my fellow soldiers.
wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for the "Club Nine" Dozen. It didn't take long for the word to spread
around our company command post that "somebody sent some cookies". I knew I would want to send a thank you
about 3 minutes, all of the cookies were gone!!! I just stood there and looked at about 10 Soldiers in amazement.
They just stood there and looked back with that sort of expression you would expect from a little kid that just got
caught eating some candy out of their Christmas stocking the day BEFORE Christmas. I just had to laugh. Sorry there
Please pass on our appreciation to your wonderful customers as well.
What a fun surprise to receive a shipment of cookies in the mail--we all crowded around the gift box like 8 year olds at
a birthday party!  The generosity and thoughtfulness of everyone involved in "Operation Cookie" is somewhat
humbling.   I have attached a picture of our office--I am the female kneeling on the right.   There are only five of us so
I will certainly pass the cookies around, especially to some of the younger troops.
I just wanted to say thank you and your company for the great cookies that you sent to us here in East Baghdad.  Our
box was sent compliments of Conesus, New York.  When cookies arrive it produces a smile on everyone’s face.  As one
of the older guys over here my grandchildren know me as the original “Cookie Monster”.  Working with these great
young soldiers has been an uplifting experience.  The folks at home have been truly great in their support of our
service members.  We are working hard to end this conflict and bring many of the troops home soon.

I got your package of two dozen cookies through the "Club Nine" program and opened them late last night and had one
there. I especially liked the Air Force rubber duckie.  You made our night/day here.  Thank you for your support of the
U.S. troops with your "Club Nine" program.
currently deployed to Afghanistan and have been here for about 10 months now.  The cookies are great and I am
sharing them with my buddies.  Interestingly enough, the note enclosed says that the extra dozen comes from a tClub 9
supporter in Mahwah, NJ.  I was born and raised in NJ and had spent some time in Mahwah.

Anyhow, this is an unbelievable program that you have put together and this sailor appreciates it.  Keep up the good
work and support, it certainly brings smiles to people who need them.
much a shark feeding frenzy when the box labeled "Cookies Direct" was placed on my desk; I didn't stand a chance!
Thank you for supporting the troops, your efforts do make a huge difference!
